Cristina Gutiérrez Zúñiga
Professor and Researcher at El Colegio de Jalisco and Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico) since 1993.
PhD. in Social Sciences (2002). El Colegio de Jalisco, (Mexico)
Her work is centered on the pluralizing of religion in Mexico, new religious and spiritual movements, and the transnationalization of religious practices.
Current research projects:
2015-2017: “Diversidad religiosa y escuela pública en Guadalajara México” (Religious diversity and public schools in Guadalajara, México)

2016-2017: “Encuesta Nacional de Religión: creencias, prácticas, valores y laicidad en México” (Religion National Survey: beliefs, practices, values and laicité in Mexico) financed by CONACYT (National Council for Science and Technology, México)
